Supplying your feet with a constant level of breathability and airflow, the Torin 7 Running Shoes utilise an engineered mesh upper construction. This allows your feet to remain cool and comfortable even during more intense running sessions, for the ultimate training or running experience. Perforations within the fabrics mean that a build-up of heat is prevented, by allowing cool, fresh air to replace warm air effectively, providing you with distraction-free comfort. The shoes utilise Altra's Standard Footshape Fit for a roomy, natural fit, that allows toes to splay naturally during running. The 7th edition of the Torins has a redeveloped tongue, that rests comfortably against your foot for a plush feel, working alongside the traditional lace-up construction, your feet remain secure within the shoes, preventing in-shoe slippage, and keeping you focused on the journey ahead. Finally, Altra have created an evolved moulded heel collar for added comfort, a greater fit and a locked-in feel.
The Torin 7 features an ultra-lightweight and spring Altra EGO MAX midsole. This midsole is super light, so it won't drag you down. The dual-layer EVA works hard to cushion the foot on impact, protecting the joints and muscles from stress and strain as you strike down hard. This leads to a reduced risk of injury both short and longer term, so you can keep running with confidence. The ultra-springy nature of the EGO MAX means you get bouncy rebounds that make you feel unstoppable. The EVA utilises the force from your last step to power you into your next one, resulting in reduced fatigue and no loss of momentum. The midsole design features a Balanced Cushioning platform. This places your heel and forefoot the same distance from the ground to encourage proper, low-impact form throughout your run.
